On offer is a four kilometre stretch of beach and masses of action-packed fun along Pattaya Beach. Stretch out on your deckchair and select fruit from a passing vendor. Have a massage, soak up the sun, watch an exhilarating banana boat ride or rent a jet-ski.
If you prefer a quiet zone during the day, Jomtien Beach - around the headland from Pattaya Beach has a real beach flavour. Jomtien Beach is Thailand's premier Windsurfing destination with lots of watersports like windsurfing and paragliding on offer.
If you want to splash the cash, charter a boat - invite a few friends and take a cruise to the islands on a restored colonial style teak boat from Gulf Charters or take a PADI diving course. The sea around the Gulf of Siam offers year round diving. While it's not in the same league as the Similan Islands there are a couple of wrecks for underwater explorers and, the water is warm!

Sports and Fun Stuff |
If you've just had too much sun, try indoor sports like snooker and bowling (OD Bowling - Pratamnak Rd) or PS Bowl (Pattaya 2nd Road) or go for a massage. The real deal will have Traditional Physical Massage where you have loose clothes to wear. You can find places on the beach or just about anywhere in Pattaya.
For a more elevated experience CMT Flying Club offers ultralight flights and light airplane cruises over the Pattaya countryside. Weekends 8-6pm. Note: Ultralight flights are dependent on wind conditions so try to reserve in advance. (44 km north of Pattaya 298202)
Had a tough week? Real bullets at Pattaya Shooting (Pattaya 2nd Road) and Thai Thong Culture Park, which offers
elephant rides to make your day after the Magnum 45.
Alternatively you could get a group of friends (with Rambo headbands of course) and aim for the rear end at Jomtien Paintball World. 100 paintballs plus facepaint for 500 Baht. (Soi 9 South Jomtien) If you prefer to watch combat, check out Muay Thai Boxing where the Beach Road meets the Walking Street.) You will see why Muay Thai is considered the king of Martial Arts.
Anyone for tennis? Almost all the large hotels have beautifully kept tennis courts which will allow visitors to use them for a reasonable fee. Fitness freaks will also find excellent facilities at the following hotels. (Amari Orchid Pattaya, Dusit Resort Pattaya, Montien Pattaya, Siam Bayshore)

Miniature Racetrack (Pattaya Cart Speedway)
If you get bored with chilling out the beach, or all that warm tropical water, there are go-karts to race, elephants to ride and
guns to shoot!
Pattaya Kart Speedway (Thep Prasit Road) offers 2 go-kart tracks, a bungee to get the adrenaline going and, an off-road vehicle track. While Formula One addicts can do a Schumacher impression at KR Go Kart - a 400 metre race track (ok they're only 50cc engines, but a lot of fun! (Thep Prasit Road.) With separate tracks for amateur and professional drivers, the ideal place to take on your friends for a few rounds of thrilling driving adventure. (Location: Thepprasit Road)

Pattaya Water Park
Fun for the whole family is on the cards at this amusement park with its gigantic slide, jacuzzis and a seaside tower - at 240 metres the highest in Pattaya - with a revolving restaurant. (Thapphraya Road, Jomtien Beach) |

Just ten minutes south of Pattaya on Sukhumvit 155, The Blue Lagoon Watersports Club is the perfect place to enjoy watersports like windsurfing, kayaking and kite-sailing in a peaceful and tranquil environment.

Lakeland Water Ski
Just five kilometres from Pattaya City, this enormous fresh water lake is used for cable ski, a sport that is growing fast in popularity. (Location: Kilometer 150.5 on Sukhumvit Highway)

Bamrung Sailing and Paramotor Centre
A variety of exciting aquatic and other exciting sports are offered here (complete with short instruction courses), including windsurfing, sailing, paramotoring and paragliding.
